Some wrongs result in relatively small individual amounts, making individual actions uneconomical. The class action is a powerful procedural tool allowing for the resolution of an entire set of similar small injuries in one action. We’ve served as lead or co-lead counsel in dozens of class actions, recovering hundreds of millions of dollars on behalf of our class clients. For example, in Cecil v. BP America Production Co., No. 16-CV-410 (E.D. Okla.), we recovered over $220 million for class members concerning royalty underpayment claims. Our experience also extends to class actions involving consumer, RICO, and antitrust claims, including in national multidistrict litigation proceedings.
